By attending the Florida Corgi Picnic, you agree to give up any legal or equitable claims that you may have against the organizers/volunteers. This includes any and all claims of liability and damages from any injury, property damage, loss, claim, or expense that may occur to you or your dog(s) during the course of the event.
With this, we request that you, your family members and pets adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a fun and safe event for everyone:
- Participants should keep their dog(s) in sight and under their direct control at all times. Once in a while, Corgis may have tiffs with each other. When this happens, we require a mandatory timeout with the misbehaving Corgis remaining in their parents area until they have settled down.
- Unspayed females, when in heat, should not be brought to picnic.
- It is your responsibility to clean up after your dog and yourself. Trash cans are available for your waste.
- All dogs should be current on their core vaccinations, as determined by their personal veterinarian and the State of Florida. It is always a good idea to have a copy of your dog's vaccine paperwork handy (keep a copy in your purse or car's glove compartment).
- The picnic is only for Corgis or Corgi mix. Any other breeds or mixes will not be permitted to participate in this event.
- Please remember that food and toys can cause fights between dogs. With many Corgis running loose, we ask that you DO NOT feed them.!!! Being Corgis, you can be certain they will be begging for your lunch. There are many that you will get to know year after year.
- You are required to keep your dog on a leash when walking from your car to the hotel. We dont want any escapes to happen.
- By attending picnic you agree to our using any photos that may have been taken of you or your dog.
- We must have, atleast, the family info of everyone attending the picnic. Everyone is to wear their nametag.
